Michael Gesinger

A resident of Seattle, Mr. Gesinger prefers to work simply, using mostly natural light. He is known predominantly for his studies of the nude fema,le form photographed in black and white, then selenium toned and beautifully hand-colored. His work also includes architectural studies. His photographs of buildings, south of the border, contrast a strong visual composition with a painterly quality of light and color, making even the most humble portal a poetic subject.
