Lisa Hollister Sorensen

Ms. Sorensen uses Polaroid image transferring to capture her subjects and create idiosyncratic images of painterly quality. Through her photography she captures beauty in the small details of life. Her work allows the viewer to see through her eyes, transforming the mundane into the sublime. Her subject matter includes florals, still life architectural detail, objects, light and shadow.
